Integration of the Czech republic into the European Union in the area of CAP: case study of the wine sector – impact on producers in South Moravia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou procesu adaptace mechanismů Společné zemědělské politiky na úrovni České republiky a to konkrétně v sektoru vinařství. Tento proces absorpce představuje ve všech jeho souvislostech a kontextech se zahrnutím maximálního počtu proměnných. Ty byly stanoveny a analyzovány v první obecné části práce, kde jsem se konkrétně zabýval různými aspekty adaptace vinařského sektoru na požadavky EU v oblasti legislativních změn, založení nových vinařských institucí, nových dotačních příležitostí a v oblasti vývoje mezinárodního obchodu s vínem. Druhá část práce na tento proces adaptace nahlíží v empirické rovině, kdy zkoumá konkrétní důsledky zavedení pravidel Společné zemědělské politiky na producenty vína v regionu Jižní Morava. Jednalo se o kvantitativní výzkum, který byl proveden pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Na základě výsledků z šetření jsem byl následně schopen porovnat závěry z obecné části se zkušenostmi moravských vinařů, které byly získány empirickým výzkumem.

Abstract:

This thesis analyze the process of adaptation mechanisms of the Common Agricultural Policy at the level of the Czech Republic and specifically in the wine sector. This process of absorption is in all its aspects and contexts including the maximum number of variables. These were identified and analyzed in the general part where I have specifically dealt with various aspects of the adaptation of the wine sector to the requirements of the EU in legislative changes, in the establishment of new wine institutions, in new grant opportunities and in the development of international trade with wine. The second part of this thesis is at the empirical level, which examines the implications of the introduction of specific rules of the Common agricultural Policy to the producers of wine in the region of South Moravia. It was a quantitative research that was conducted by questionnaire. Based on the results of the investigation I was able to compare the findings from the general part with the experiences of the Moravian winemakers, which were obtained by empirical research.
