Imigrace je nedílnou součástí americké společnosti a kultury. Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnat aktuální situaci týkající se imigrace obyvatel Hispánie do USA se situací probíhající při pokolumbovském osídlování Ameriky a dále poukázat na dopady, které má tento fenomén v současnosti na americkou politiku. Abstract:
Immigration is an integral part of American society and culture. The goal of the thesis is to look at how Hispanic immigration compares to American immigration historically and its effect on American politics. The final part analyzes the changes in political policy due to the growing Hispanic electorate.
