Diplomová práce pojednává o edukaci studentů sociálních oborů středních škol v oblasti umírání a smrti. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením umírání a smrti z historického i současného pohledu, péčí zaměřenou na umírající osoby, podporu rodině, blízkému okolí a také sociálním pracovníkům. This diploma thesis deals with the educating high school students of social fields about dying and death. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of dying and death from a historical and contemporary point of view, care for dying people, family support and support for social workers.
