Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem imunit státu, se zaměřením na rozdíly mezi jednáním acta iure imperii a acta iure gestionis a odrazem tohoto rozdělení v rozhodovací praxi soudů. V první části se práce věnuje obecné úpravě problematiky imunit státu, pramenům právní úpravy, historickému vývoji a vymezení ustálených výjimek z institutu imunity státu, tak jak se vyvinuly v praxi soudů.
