In this thesis I analyse presidential discourses of two presidents, one of them represents the Czech Republic and the other one is the head of the Republic of South Africa. V této práci analyzuji diskurzy dvou prezidentů, jedním z nich je prezident České republiky a druhý představuje hlavu Jihoafrické republiky. Předmětem analýzy jsou interkulturní rozdíly v prezidentských projevech, především pak prvky kolektivity a individuality.
