Addiction to drugs and its environmental impact.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Abúzus drog a vliv na jeho okolí pojednává o historii drog, jejich rozdělení, závislosti, prevenci a také o následcích, které s sebou abúzus a závislost přinášejí, a to jak z pohledu uživatele, tak i z pohledu společnosti. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy posoudit abúzus drog a informovanost společnosti o návykových látkách a snaha o objasnění příčiny vzniku nadměrného užívání těchto látek. Teoretická část práce se věnuje drogám jako celku a je zde nastíněn jejich vývoj a dělení. Dále se pak práce věnuje oblasti abúzu a závislosti jedince a informuje o možnostech léčby závislých a o případné prevenci. V poslední části teorie se práce věnuje problematice dopadů abúzu na okolí uživatele, společnosti a na jedince jako takového. V analytické části se práce zaměřuje na zjištění stavu informovanosti společnosti o drogách a zjištění příčin, které vedou jedince k započetí užívání návykových látek. Závěr práce je tvořen vyhodnocením dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis Drug Abuse and the Impact on its Surroundings deals with the history of drugs, their distribution, addiction, and prevention. It is also about the consequences that abuse and addiction bring, both from the perspective of user and society. The aim of the thesis is to asses drug abuse and society's awareness of addictive substances on the basis of the analysis. The other goal of the thesis is to try to clarify the cause of excessive use of these substances. The theoretical part of the work deals with drugs as a whole and it also outlines their development and division. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the area of abuse and addiction of the individual and informs about the possibilities of treatment of addicts and about possible prevention. In the last part of the theory, the work deals with the issue of impacts of abuse on the user’s surroundings, society and the individual as such. In the analytical part, the thesis focuses on finding of the state of drug awareness of society and finding out the causes that lead individuals to start of using addictive substances. The conclusion of the work is formed by the evaluation of the above-mentioned research.
