Social Informatics: A Comparison of Eastern and Western Conception

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Sociální informatika: srovnání východního a západního pojetí“ představuje komparaci vědeckých oborů nesoucích stejný název. V rámci východního pojetí jde o disciplíny dvě, v rámci západního je jako sociální informatika označen jeden vědecký směr. Nejdříve jsou jednotlivé koncepce představeny – jsou uvedena jejich teoretická východiska a představen konceptuální rámec. Připojena je také bibliografie základní literatury východního i západního přístupu. V závěru jsou porovnána teoretická východiska a konceptuální rámec západní sociální informatiky s teoretickými východisky a konceptuálními rámci obou směrů východní sociální informatiky.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Social Informatics: A Comparison of the Eastern and Western Conception“ represents a comparison of two studies that share the same label. The eastern conception encompasses two disciplines, within the framework of the western conception there is just one discipline. In the first part, this thesis presents particular conceptions – their theoretical basis and conceptual frameworks. Bibliographies of the fundamental literature of the eastern and western coception are also added. At the end of the thesis the theoretical base and conceptual framework of the western conception is compared with the theoretical basis and conceptual frameworks of both disciplines in the eastern conception.
