Assessment of patient safety in the Hospital

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Hodnocení bezpečnosti pacienta v nemocnici se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část obsahuje jednotlivé dimenze bezpečí zdravotní péče. Co je kvalita a bezpečí zdravotní péče, její historie, situace v České republice, legislativní dokumenty, dále samotné téma akreditace, jednotlivé společnosti, zajištující externí kontrolu kvality. V neposlední řadě je také uvedena problematika bezpečnosti pacientů a problematika nežádoucích událostí. Ve výzkumné části je realizován průzkum pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku americké společnosti Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) s názvem Hospital Survey on Patient Safety. Průzkum byl realizován na vybraných odděleních FN Motol a institutu IKEM.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is "Assessment of patient safety in the hospital "consist of two parts. In the theoretical parts of the thesis basic definitions of safety in health care. What is quality and patient safety, the history of quality and situation in the Czech Republic, accreditation. Finally, there is a definition of patient safety and the issue of undesirable events. In the empirical parts is realized exploration Assessment of patient safety in the hospital per standardized questionnaire American company Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) with name Hospital Survey on Patient Safety. The exploration is realized in unit FN Motol and institute IKEM.
