Occurrence of anglicisms within social networks and in communication of pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá anglickými výrazy v komunikaci žáků druhého stupně základní školy na sociálních sítích. Předmětem této práce jsou anglicismy vyskytující se na sociálních sítích i v soukromých komunikacích mezi žáky. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány nejznámější české i zahraniční sociální sítě a je zde zpracováno téma komunikace na sociálních sítích. Praktická část je rozdělena do tří částí. Nejdříve byl proveden monitoring výskytu anglicismů na sociálních sítích. Následně bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření na základní škole. Třetí část je zaměřena na analýzu soukromých účtů žáků na sociálních sítích. Cílem dotazníku i analýzy jednotlivých účtů je zkoumat použití anglicismů žáky na druhém stupni ZŠ v rámci sociálních serverů.

Abstract:

A topic of a master thesis deals with English expressions used by students at secondary school at social networks. The subject of the thesis consists of English phrases that appear at social networks and private communication of students. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. There are given characteristics of the most popular Czech and foreign social networks in the theoretical part. It also deals with the topic of a social network communication. The practical part has three parts. In the first one, we were monitoring using of Anglicisms on social networks. In the second part we made a questionnaire survey at a secondary school. The third part focuses on analysis of private social networks accounts of students. The aim of the questionnaire and analysis is to research using of Anglicisms by students at secondary school in social networks.
