Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat pohyb cen amerických akciových indexů s odrazem v americké ekonomice. Metody analýzy akciových indexů se rozdělují na technické a fundamentální. Technická analýza sleduje historické pohyby amerických akciových indexů v třech různých časových rámcích. Nástroje technické analýzy jsou supportní a rezistentní zóna a trendové linie, které prezentují potenciální ceny, kde se cena může zamítnout. Fundamentální analýza je provedena, za pomocí analýzy makroekonomických zpráv o dění v USA. Výsledky makroekonomických zpráv mají dopad na americký dolar a ten ovlivňuje pohyby amerických indexů. Korelační analýza zjistila, že dopady úrokových sazeb, jakožto makroekonomické zprávy má vysokou závislost na pohyb dolaru. Dle toho můžeme s pomocí metod technické analýzy ve spojení s analýzou fundamentální predikovat pohyby cen amerických akciových indexů ve více časových rámcích. Zjištění je přínosné jako způsob obchodování a investování do amerických akciových indexů a odhady možného cenového vývoje.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the price movement of American stock indices with a reflection in the American economy. Methods of stock index analysis are divided into technical and fundamental. Technical analysis tracks the historical movements of US stock indices in three different time frames. Technical analysis tools are support and resistance zone and trend lines which present potential prices where the price can be rejected. Fundamental analysis is performed, using the analysis of macroeconomic reports on events in the USA. The results of macroeconomic reports have an impact on the US dollar, which affects the movements of US indices. Correlation analysis found that the impact of interest rates, as macroeconomic news, has a high dependence on the movement of the dollar. Accordingly, with the help of technical analysis methods in conjunction with fundamental analysis, we can predict price movements of American stock indices in multiple time frames. The finding is beneficial as a way of trading and investing in US stock indices and estimates of possible price developments.
