Present and future trends of tourist demand in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Současné a budoucí trendy v turistické poptávce českého obyvatelstva“ se zabývá analýzou současných a (budoucích) trendů v oblasti cestovního ruchu se zaměřením na prostorové uspořádání cestování českého obyvatelstva. Cílem práce bylo popsat a analyzovat tyto trendy. První část práce je věnována teoreticko-metodickým východiskům, která měla za úkol uvést čtenáře do zkoumané problematiky. Další část popisuje vývoj cestování českého obyvatelstva v delším období. Poslední část práce se věnuje analýze současných trendů na základě provedeného dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis “Present and Future Trends of Tourism Demand In the Czech Republic” deals with research of current (and future) trends in tourism focusing on geography of travelling of Czech population. The goal of this thesis was to describe and analyze these trends. The first part of this thesis is devoted to the theoretical and methodological bases, which should provide an introduction to the topic. The next part describes the development of the travelling of Czech people in the longer term. The last part is devoted to the analysis of current trends based on a questionnaire survey.
