The origin of the women?s movement is illustrated by history and chronologically each wave of feminism is compared separately. Diplomová práce srovnává vznik, vývoj a průběh třetí vlny feminismu ve Spojených státech amerických a ve Švédsku. Práce představí hlavní myšlenky, kritické momenty a stěžejní události tohoto směru a bude hledat podobnosti, odlišnosti, ale také souvislosti, které vzájemně ovlivnily průběh v obou porovnávaných zemích.
