„Phenomenon Masaryk" art exhibition's costing

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce si zakládá na tvorbě modelu kalkulace rozpočtu výstavy sloužícího jako předloha v rámci procesu vzniku výstav. V praxi dosud neexistuje model sumarizující náklady výstavy, podle něhož by se dotyčný, výstavou pověřený, mohl při realizaci výstavy řídit. Kulturní instituce neustále zápasí s nedostatkem finančních prostředků potřebných na svou činnost. Z tohoto důvodu jsou nuceny během realizace výstav kalkulovat nad poměrem využitých materiálů nebo zvoleného způsobu propagace. Práce v první řadě uvede rozdíl mezi kalkulací a rozpočtem, neboť dochází k časté záměně jejich významů. Dále umožní získat ucelený přehled forem podnikatelských činností s následným vymezením specifikací kulturních institucí – muzeí a galerií ve spojení s jejich výstavnickou činností. Praktická část práce představí výstavu Fenomén Masaryk společně s jejím rozpočtem. Na základě rozpočtu dojde k rozboru jednotlivých položek, ze kterých se bude vycházet při stavbě obecného modelu výstav.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis is based on the creation of a model for calculating the exhibition budget serving as a template in the process of creating exhibitions. There is still no model in practice summarizing the costs of the exhibition according to which employees could follow the implementation of the exhibition. Cultural organizations constantly struggle with the lack of financial resources needed for their activities. They are forced to calculate during the exhibition over the proportion of material used and scope of promotional methods. The thesis first introduces the difference between the calculation and the budget because of frequent confusion of their meanings. It also allows to obtain the overview of forms of business activities. Subsequently, it defines the specifications of cultural institutions in connection with their exhibitions. The practical part of the thesis presents the exhibition about Masaryk as Phenomenon and the budget. An analysis of individual items it is based on the construction of the budget which become as the starting point for the categorization of typical costs for exhibitions.
