This bachelor thesis is focused on acquaintance with DMARDs drugs, namely 5-aminosalicylic acid and its metabolites, as well as their determination in biological samples by high performance liquid chromatography. The work mainly describes the indications, mechanism of action and adverse effects of the drugs.
