Child soldiers - social, cultural and nurtural aspects of recruitment

Abstract:

Práce je věnována v dnešní době aktuální problematice dětských vojáků. Popisuje základní sociální a kulturní aspekty verbování dětí do řad vojenských organizací a následný vliv a působení této aktivity na vývoj a výchovu zúčastněných dětí. Jsou popsány základní principy verbování dětských vojáků včetně různých faktorů vnitřní motivace či vnějšího nátlaku. Práce taktéž stručně postihuje fenomén dítěte jako vojáka tzv. Islámského státu. Téma je zpracováno pomocí analýzy dostupné literatury.

Abstract:

The work deals with recently actual phenomenon of child soldiering. It describes social and cultural aspects of child recruitment into military organizations and a consequent impact on the development and education of children that participate in these actions. The work is also focused on basic principles of child recruitment, including both internal motivation and external pressure. There is also briefly described a concept of child as a soldier in so called Islamic state. The theme is processed through an analysis of available literature.
