Social Work on the Wings of Spirituality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem sociální práce v kontextu spirituality. V teoretické části této práce vymezuji pojmy jakožto: spiritualita, religiozita, náboženství, psychologie náboženství a vzájemné vztahy mezi religiozitou a náboženstvím. Dále v této části definuji pojem sociální práce a její cíle, ale také vymezuje, kdo je sociální pracovník. Na spiritualitu v této práci nahlížím jako na nejen osobnostní složku, ale také jak na součást sociální práce. V praktické čísti této práce se zabývám kvalitativním výzkumem a rozhovory se sociálními pracovníky a následnou analýzou těchto rozhovorů. V rámci výzkumu mě zajímalo, jak moc je sociální práce spiritualitou ovlivněna, a poté i to, do jaké míry jsou spiritualitou ovlivněni samotní sociální pracovníci při výkonu své profese.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the thesi of social work in the context of spirituality. In the theoretical part of the work I define terms such as: spirituality, religiosity, religion, psychology of religion and the interrelationships between religiosity and religion. Further in this part I define the concept of social work and its goals, but also I define who social worker is. In the practical part of this thesis I deal with the qualitative research and interviews with social workers and subsequent analysis of these interviews. In the research, I was interested in how much social work is affected by spirituality, and then also to what extent the workers themselves are influenced by spirituality in the performance of their profession.
