Employee benefits at IKEA

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem zaměstnaneckých benefitů a jejich významem ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem práce je posouzení existujícího systému zaměstnaneckých benefitů ve společnosti IKEA Česká republika, s.r.o. (dále jen IKEA) na základě teoretických východisek a průzkumu mezi zaměstnanci, a následného navržení doporučení ke zdokonalení. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část pojednává o motivaci k práci, hlavních teoretických přístupech, zaměstnaneckých benefitech, jejich roli v personálním marketingu a nových trendech jejich poskytování. Praktická část se zabývá představením vybrané společnosti, popisem stávajícího systému benefitů, poté výzkumem, který zahrnuje rešerši interních dokumentů firmy a dotazníkové šetření mezi zaměstnanci společnosti s cílem získat přehled o jejich preferencích a postojích k balíčkům benefitů. Celkově tato práce poskytuje poznatky o úloze zaměstnaneckých benefitů a nabízí doporučení pro zvýšení spokojenosti, angažovanosti a udržení zaměstnanců společnosti IKEA.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of employee benefits and their importance in the selected company. The aim of the thesis is to assess the existing system of employee benefits in IKEA Česká republika, s.r.o. based on theoretical background and a survey among employees, and then to propose recommendations for improvement. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with work motivation, the main theoretical approaches, employee benefits, their role in HR marketing and new trends in their provision. The practical part deals with the introduction of the selected company, a description of the existing benefits system, then research, which includes a search of internal company documents and a questionnaire survey among the company's employees to get an overview of their preferences and attitudes towards benefits packages. Overall, this thesis provides insights into the role of employee benefits and offers recommendations for increasing employee satisfaction, engagement and retention at IKEA.
