This paper is focused on the use of multiple negation in English. In the theoretical part, there is first introduced the background of African American Vernacular English, then the paper focuses on the Standard and non-Standard variant of the language and the last part of theoretical part focuses on the negation as such. Tato práce se věnuje závodům použití a principům negace v anglickém jazyce. V teoretické části je nejprve představena Afroamerická angličtina. Poté se práce zaměřuje na rozdíl mezi standardní a nestandarní Angličtinou a poslední část teorie se zabývá negací a jejími typy.
