Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza vyobrazení schizofrenie v současné americké literatuře pro mládež. Tato práce také zkoumá jeho autenticitu. Analýza je založená na třech zvolených románech: Challenger Deep (2016) Neala Shustermana, Words on Bathroom Walls (2017) Julie Walton, a Made You Up (2015) Francescy Zappie. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the portrayal of schizophrenia in contemporary American young adult novels. The study also evaluates its authenticity. The analysis is based on three selected novels: Challenger Deep (2016) by Neal Shusterman, Words on Bathroom Walls (2017) by Julia Walton, and Made You Up (2015) by Francesca Zappia.
