Influence of alternative teaching methods on change of attitude of younger pupils towards pupils with handicap

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postoji žáků na prvním stupni základní školy k spolužákům se zdravotním handicapem. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký vliv má intervence kooperativních forem výuky na změnu postoje žáků k spolužákům s handicapem. Teoretická část práce je formou literární rešerše zaměřena na problematiku vzdělávacích metod, postojů vůči lidem s postižením, legislativního a terminologického vymezení žáků a prevencí sociálně patologických jevů. Výzkumné kvantitativní šetření probíhá formou pretestu a posttestu u experimentální a kontrolní skupiny složené z žáků první až třetí třídy základní školy. V závěru práce je proveden souhrn zjištěných dat a jsou stanovena doporučení pro pedagogy, které metody mohou působit na změny v oblasti postojů žáků vůči spolužákům s handicapem.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the attitudes of pupils at primary school towards their classmates with disabilities. The aim of the work is to determine the effect of the intervention of cooperative forms of education on the change of attitude of pupils towards their classmates with a handicap. In the form of literary research, the theoretical part of the work focuses on the issue of educational methods, attitudes towards people with disabilities, legislative and terminological definition of pupils and preventions of socio pathological phenomena. The research quantitative survey is carried out in the form of a pre-test and post-test in the experimental and control groups consisting of first class to third class pupils of elementary school. At the end of the thesis, the summary of the collected data lays recommendations for teachers, reflecting which methods may produce a change in the area of attitudes of pupils towards their handicapped classmates.
