The Role of the Worker in Social Services in Retairement Home

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu role, postavení a kompetencí, které mají pracovníci v sociálních službách v domově pro seniory. Bakalářská práce obsahuje tři kapitoly, přičemž první z nich se věnuje problematice sociální práce, definuje sociální služby v návaznosti na českou legislativu a ukotvuje dle zákona o sociálních službách domov pro seniory. Druhá kapitola pojednává o profesi pracovníka v sociálních službách a zaměřuje se i na další profese v rámci multidisciplinárního týmu v domovech pro seniory. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na vyhodnocení vlastního průzkumu mezi 145 respondenty. Data jsou prezentována v přehledných sloupcových a výsečových grafech. Na tyto praktické poznatky navazují návrhy a doporučení do budoucna tak, aby se zlepšilo postavení a role pracovníků v sociálních službách v domově pro seniory.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the topic of the role, status and competences of workers in social services in a home for the elderly. The bachelor's thesis contains three chapters, the first of which deals with the issue of social work, defines social services in connection with Czech legislation and anchors a home for the elderly according to the Act on Social Services. The second chapter deals with the profession of a worker in social services and also focuses on other professions within the multidisciplinary team in homes for the elderly. The third chapter is focused on the evaluation of the own survey among 145 respondents. Data are presented in clear bar and pie charts. These practical findings are followed by proposals and recommendations for the future in order to improve the position and role of workers in social services in a home for the elderly.
