Cílem diplomové práce "Sylvie Germain a malířství" je ukázat, jakým způsobem zmíněná francouzská autorka pracuje s vizuálními možnostmi uměleckého textu. Při analýze vizuálních, obrazotvorných prvků v prozaických textech Sylvie Germain jsme vycházeli z autorčiny méně známé esejistické tvorby, v níž převažuje námět kontemplace malířských obrazů ze 17. století s duchovní i světskou tematikou.
