Succession strategy - legal aspects of transfer of ownership in family businesses

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce "Nástupnická strategie - právní aspekty předání vlastnictví v rodinných firmách“ je prostřednictvím analýzy zhodnotit proces nástupnictví v rodinných firmách s důrazem na právní aspekty předání vlastnictví. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na průzkum literárních zdrojů týkajících se rodinného podnikání, specifika nástupnictví a správy majetku v rodinných firmách. Praktická část práce začíná představením konkrétní rodinné firmy a provedením analýzy jejího současného finančního stavu. Následně jsou provedeny analýzy externích faktorů, které ovlivňují konkurenceschopnost podniku, a je provedena segmentace zákazníků. Součástí těchto analýz jsou také polostrukturované rozhovory se zakladateli a nástupníky v dané firmě, které přinášejí další relevantní poznatky k tématu práce. Na základě provedených analýz jsou formulována doporučení a návrhy nezbytné pro zefektivnění chodu firmy před předáním managementu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis "Succession strategy - legal aspects of the transfer of ownership in family companies" is to analyze the process of succession in family companies with an emphasis on the legal aspects of the transfer of ownership. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the research of literary sources related to family business, the specifics of succession and management assets in family businesses. The practical part of the work begins with the introduction of a specific family business and the analysis of its current financial status. Subsequently, analyzes of external factors that influence the company's competitiveness are carried out, and customer segmentation is carried out. These analyzes also include semi-structured interviews with the founders and successors in the given company, which bring additional relevant knowledge to the topic of the work. On the basis of the analyzes carried out, the recommendations and proposals necessary for the efficiency of the company's operation are formulated before handing over the management.
