X–vázaný hydrocefalus je gonosomálně recesivní onemocnění, způsobené mutacemi v genu L1CAM (Xq28), je součástí L1 syndromu. Klinickými příznaky L1 syndromu jsou mentální retardace, ageneze corpus callosum aj. U plodu pacientky, mužského pohlaví, byla zjistěna mutace p.Ala266Pro v exonu 7 v genu LlCAM. Abstract:
X-linked hydrocephalus is gonosomal recessive disease caused by mutations in the gene L1CAM (Xq28). It is part of L1 syndrome. L1 syndrome clinical symptoms are mental retardation, agenesis of the corpus callosum and others.
