Evaluation of the current motivational system from the point of view of employees in chosen organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí motivace zaměstnanců ve vybrané výrobní organizaci. Zaměřuje se především na stávající motivační systém pro zaměstnance na dělnických pozicích a jeho motivačními nástroji jako jsou systém odměňování, systém hodnocení zaměstnanců, pracovní prostředí a jeho podmínky, komunikace a informovanost, vzdělávání a rozvoj zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak jsou vybraní zaměstnanci spokojeni se stávajícím motivačním systémem organizace a jeho motivačními nástroji. S odkazem na odbornou literaturu jsou definovány základní pojmy týkající se vybraného tématu, jako jsou pracovní motivace, motivační systém, motivační profil, motivační nástroje atd. Metodologická část popisuje metody sběru dat, výzkumný vzorek či možná omezení výzkumu. Položeny jsou také dílčí výzkumné otázky, které pomůžou najít odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: Jak jsou řadoví zaměstnanci vybrané organizace spokojeni s vybranými motivačními nástroji stávajícího motivačního sytému? Empirická část práce popisuje výsledky samotného výzkumu tak, aby bylo možné zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku. Na základě posouzení stavu jsou formulována doporučení pro oddělení lidských zdrojů, která by pomohla zlepšit stávající motivační systém a jeho nástroje a tím přispěla k větší spokojenosti a k lepším výkonům zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the area of motivation of the employees in the chosen manufacturing organization. It is primarily focused on the existing incentive system for employees in blue-collar positions and its motivational tools such as reward system, evaluation system, work environment and its conditions, communication and awareness, education and the growth of staff. The main goal of this thesis is to find out how the chosen employees are satisfied with the existing incentive system of the organization and with its motivational tools. Referring to the specialized literature there are defined the basic terms related to the chosen topic such as work motivation, motivational system, motivational profile or motivational tools. The methodological part describes the methods of data gathering, research sample, or the possible limitations of the research. There are also put the particular research questions that can help to find the answer to key research question: How are the ordinary employees of the chosen organization satisfied with the given motivational tools of the existing incentive system? The empirical part of this thesis describes the results of the research itself in order to be able to answer the key research question. On the basis of the assessment of the situation there are expressed the recommendations intended for the human resources department that could help to improve the existing incentive system and its tools and thereby to contribute to greater satisfaction and better performance of the employees in the chosen organization.
