Strategic Plan of the Development of a Town Slatiňany

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit návrh strategického plánu rozvoje města Slatiňany do roku 2020. Pro pochopení významu strategického plánování byl zpracován teoretický přehled a byly vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se problematiky municipálního rozvoje. To se poté stalo východiskem pro zpracování praktické části práce. K vytvoření strategického plánu bylo nutné charakterizovat současný stav území a analyzovat výsledky průzkumu týkajícího se spokojenosti obyvatel s úrovní života a místním společenstvím. Z těchto informací byla sestavena SWOT analýza, která shrnovala přednosti a nedostatky města. Výsledkem předešlých částí práce bylo stanovení vize města, z ní vyplývajících strategických cílů a opatření. V závěru práce byly navrženy prioritní oblasti, na které by město mělo zaměřit pozornost. Dále byly stanoveny konkrétní projekty a možnosti využití dotačních titulů a fondů, které by městu pomohly zlepšit stávající stav některých oblastí. Význam práce spočíval ve zdůraznění nutnosti strategického plánování ve veřejném sektoru a především v pomoci městu k jeho pozitivnímu rozvoji.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis was to propose a strategic development plan of Slatiňany town till 2020. For understanding the importance of strategic planning the theoretical survey was worked up and the basic terms relevant to the problems of municipality development were explained. This became a base for elaboration of the practical part of the thesis. For creating the strategic development plan was necessary to characterize current situation of the municipality and analyse the results of the research relating residents´ satisfaction with life standard and local community. From this information the SWOT analysis was compiled and it summarized the strengths and weaknesses of the town. The assessment of vision, resulting strategic goals and measures became the results of the previous parts. At the close of the thesis the priority areas on which the town should focus were proposed. Then particular projects and possibilities of usage of subsidies and funds which should help to improve current situation of some areas were established. Importance of the thesis consists in emphasis of necessity of strategic planning in public sector and above all in help to development of the town.
