Bank supervision in the Slovak Republic after joining the Eurozone

Abstract:

An objective of my bachelor’s work is to analyse the process of change the banking supervision and regulation in the Slovak Republic after the Eurocurrency acceptance in our country. Bring a view to the problems of the banking supervision and regulation as a whole, its gradual integration in the united banking supervision in the context of the European Union legislation and its implementation in the legislation of the Slovak Republic. The compare of the main targets of the National Bank of Slovakia in the supervision area in this period, is the basic pile of my work. My analyse contains a chapters with a view to the problem of the banking supervision before Euro acceptance and a chapter with view after Euro acceptance too in the Slovak republic. The legislative conditions of the Slovak banking sector is described in the next chapters in the same time with the legislative conditions of the banking supervision and regulation. The bachelor’s work deals with the economic crisis influence also, because it have very important impact to the supervision and regulation in the whole banking sector, not only Eurozone or European Union.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce je analyzovať proces zmeny bankového dohľadu a regulácie v Slovenskej republike po vstupe do eurozóny. Prináša pohľad na problémy bankového dohľadu a regulácie ako celku a jeho postupnú integráciu na jednotný bankový dohľad v súčinnosti s Európskou legislatívou a jej implementáciu do legislatívy Slovenskej republiky. Porovnanie hlavných cieľov Národnej banky Slovenska v tomto období je nosným pilierom tejto práce. Moja analýza obsahuje kapitoly s pohľadom na problémy dohľadu nad bankovníctvom pred prijatím eura a kapitoly po prijatí eura v Slovenskej republike. Legislatívne podmienky upravujúce Slovenský bankový sektor sú popísané v nasledujúcich kapitolách súčasne s legislatívnymi podmienkami upravujúcimi dohľad a reguláciu nad bankovníctvom. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá taktiež vplyvom ekonomickej krízy pretože má veľmi dôležitý dopad na dohľad a reguláciu v celom bankovom sektore nie iba eurozóny alebo Európskej únie.
