Lidské embryonální kmenové buňky (human Embryonic Stem Cells; hESC) jsou pluripotentní buňky mající vysoký potenciál pro biomedicínu jako zdroj diferencovaných buněk pro buněčnou terapii, in vitro modelování lidských onemocnění a pro vývoj a testování léčiv. Human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) are pluripotent cells with a tangible potential for use in biomedicine. HESCs can be used as the source of differentiated cells for cell replacement therapies, tissue engineering and drug development.
