Support of individual planning with clients with disrupted communication ability in outreach services for children and youth.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo ověřit nástroj vytvořený pro potřeby individuálního plánování s klienty s narušenou komunikační schopností v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež. V teoretické části jsme se zaměřili na obecnou charakteristiku nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež, jejich cílů, poslání a popis procesu individuálního plánování. Dále jsme se zabývali komunikací, narušenou komunikační schopností a alternativními formami komunikace. Empirickou část jsme věnovali prezentaci vytvořeného nástroje a jeho následnému ověřování, na kterém se podíleli pracovníci i klienti zařízení. Pracovníci v rámci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů popsali a zhodnotili využití nástroje. Na základě dat z rozhovorů byla poté vytvořena strukturovaná doporoučení pro další využití nástroje v praxi.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis was to verify the tool created for the needs of individual planning with clients who have disrupted communication ability in outreach services for children and youth. In the theoretical part, we focused on the general characteristics of outreach services for children and youth, their goals, the mission and description of the individual planning process. We were also dealing with communication, disrupted communication ability and alternative forms of communication. The empirical part was devoted to the presentation of the created tool and its verification, which was attended by the staff and the clients of the facilities. Staff have described and evaluated the use of tools in semi-structured interviews. Based on the interview data, structured recommendations were developed for further use of tool in practice.
