The Issue of Tourism Organization and Management in Olomouc Region

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza a hodnocení organizace a řízení cestovního ruchu v Olomouckém kraji jakožto klíčového nástroje rozvoje cestovního ruchu v této destinaci. V první části je vymezen pojem destinační management a jeho specifika. Dále jsou zde vymezeny teoretické předpoklady fungování organizací cestovního ruchu (právní forma, způsoby financování a problémy bránící vzniku těchto organizací). Druhá část popisuje základní charakteristiky cestovního ruchu v daném regionu a Projekt organizace cestovního ruchu v Olomouckém kraji. Třetí část se zabývá již konkrétně sdruženími, které na tomto území vznikly. V poslední části je provedeno zhodnocení současného stavu řízení a organizace cestovního ruchu v kraji.

Abstract:

The goal of this submitted thesis is to analyse and evaluate Tourism Organization and Management in Olomouc Region as the key instrument of the tourism development in this destination. In the first part there is determinated the conception of the Destination Management and its specifics. Then there are determinated theoretical premises of Tourism Organization (legal forms, ways of financing and problems inhibiting formation of these organizations). The second part describes basic characteristics of tourism in this region and The project of Tourism Organization in Olomouc Region. The third part is concerned specificly with organizations, which originated in this area. There is evaluation of the Destination Management and Tourism Organization implemented in the last part.
