Activities of Public Beneficial Companies in the Field of Providing Social Services

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na roli obecně prospěšných společností v oblasti sociálních služeb. V první části jsou shrnuty poznatky o neziskovém sektoru, obecně prospěšných společnostech, jejich fungování a o službách, kterými konkrétně TyfloCentrum Pardubice, o.p.s., pomáhá osobám se zrakovým postižením. Druhá část bakalářské práce se zabývá kompenzačními pomůckami pro zrakově postižené osoby a příspěvkem na jejich pořízení, se kterým souvisí změna v legislativě díky reformě sociálního systému. Na základě analýzy je v závěru práce provedeno zhodnocení těchto změn a navržení některých opatření pro zlepšení poskytovaných služeb TyfloCentra Pardubice, o.p.s.

Abstract:

This bachelor?s thesis is focused on the role of public service companies. The knowledge of non-profit sector, public service companies and their functions, more accurately the functions of TyfloCentrum Pardubice and its help provided to people with sight disability are summarized in the first part of this thesis. The second part is dealing with compensatory aids for visually impaired people and the donations for their obtaining. The reform of the change in legislation for obtaining these donations is also covered. The summary of these changes and improvement proposals for the TyfloCentrum Pardubice is provided in the conclusion.
