Abstract:
Předložená práce je věnována stručným dějinám emigrace Čechů a Slovinců po druhé světové válce do USA. Stěžejní téma je zaměřeno na historicko-politickou situaci ve Slovinsku a u nás po roce 1945 a 1948. Cílem této práce je objasnit příčiny emigrace, popsat cílové země exulantů, vazby emigrace k vlasti a kulturní život krajanů mimo hranice rodné země.
Abstract:
Presented work is dedicated to concise history of emigration of Czech and Slovenian citizens to the USA after World War II. Thesis is focused on historical and political situation in Slovenia and in Czech Lands after the year of 1945 and 1948. Main point of this work was to clarify causes of emigration, describe the target countries for emigrants and to explain any relations with the native countries …more
