Srovnání Škvoreckého Zbabělců a Salingerovo Kdo chytá v žitě

The confrontation: J. Škovrecký´s Zbabělci and J. D. Salinger´s The Catcher in the Rye
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je srovnat dvě literární díla. Jsou jimi Salingerův román Kdo chytá v ţitě a Škvoreckého Zbabělci. Práce se nejprve zabývá ţivotními osudy autorů, poté následuje srovnání realizované analýzou motivů, jeţ se vztahují k hlavním hrdinům. Těmito motivy jsou: motiv společnosti, samoty a marnosti, lásky, snění, hrdinství a víry.
Abstract:
The aim of this master thesis is to compare Salinger?s novel The Catcher in the Rye and Skvorecky?s novel Zbabelci. The first part discusses the authors? life stories, and then there is a comparison realized by analysis of motifs that are related to the main heroes of these two literary works. The motifs are: society, loneliness and frustration, love, dreaming, heroism and faith.
