The tasks of the nurses in the primary prevention of the oral cavity

Abstract:

V teoretické části této práce jsem se zabývala úkoly všeobecné sestry v primární prevenci dutiny ústní. Práce poukazuje na důležitost využití preventivních prohlídek, zubní kaz, edukaci pacienta ohledně dentálních pomůcek a několik metod k čištění chrupu, dodržování protiepidemiologických zásad, které jsou součástí prevence a v neposlední řadě komunikací s různými typy pacientů. V praktické části sleduji informovanost a dodržování prevence a hygieny laiků v dospělém věku formou dotazníkového šetření. V závěru poukazuji na vytvořený letáček, který se týká o důležitosti dodržování preventivních návštěv ordinace a vyvrácení mýtů, se kterými se setkáváme už od dětského věku.

Abstract:

In theoretical part of this thesis I occupied with the tasks of general nurse in primary prevention of oral cavity. This thesis points out the importance of use of preventive medical examination, education of patient in dental aids and several methods of dental care, antiepidemiological principles which are part of prevention, and last but not least, a communication with various types of patients. In practical part I study the awareness and observance of prevention and hygiene of adult laymen using a questionnaire. In conclusion I refer to created flyer which is concerned with the importance of use of preventive medical examination and disproves the myths we come across already in childhood.
