Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Čtení s porozuměním u žáků 4. ročníku ZŠ se zabývá úrovní čtenářské gramotnosti žáků prvního stupně základní školy v souvislosti s metodou výuky počátečního čtení, kterou byli vyučováni. Teoretická část seznamuje se základními pojmy, k nimž se tato práce váže, jako je čtení a jeho teoretické modely. Pozornost je věnována metodám výuky počátečního čtení z historického i současného hlediska, zejména pak metodě analyticko-syntetické a metodě genetické. Následující kapitoly přinášejí informace o čtení s porozuměním, gramotnosti funkční i čtenářské a gramotnosti v kontextu kurikula. Práce informuje rovněž o mezinárodním výzkumu čtenářské gramotnosti PIRLS a seznamuje s teoretickými východisky diagnostiky čtení a kategorizací chyb podle M. M. Clayové. Empirická část srovnává výsledky získané z měření čtenářských výkonů žáků čtvrtých ročníků dvou základních škol Moravskoslezského kraje s využitím technologie Eye Trackeru. Srovnání kvalitativních a kvantitativních znaků čtenářských výkonů pak umožňuje posoudit úroveň čtenářské gramotnosti žáků vyučovaných odlišnou metodou výuky počátečního čtení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis titled Reading comprehension of pupils of the fourth year of elementary school deals with the reading literacy level in connection with the first-reading teaching method that the pupils have been educated. The theoretical part acquaints the reader with main terms connected with the main theme of the thesis, such as reading and its theoretical models. It pays attention to the first reading teaching methods from the historical and current position, particularly to the Analytic-Synthetic method and the Genetic method. The following chapters give information about reading comprehension, functional and reading literacy and about literacy in the context of the curriculum. The thesis also gives information about the international reading research PIRLS, about theoretical basis of reading diagnostics and the mistake categorization by M. M. Clay. The empirical part compares the results acquired from measuring reading performances of fourth grade students from two schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region by the Eye Tracker technology. The comparison of qualitative and quantitative reading signs allows us to consider the pupils reading literacy level from the point of view of the first reading teaching method.
