Surrogate family care through the eyes of adolescents

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o náhradní rodinné péči, zaměřena je na adolescenty, jejich náhradní rodiče a na období středoškolského vzdělávání. Je rozdělena na část teore-tickou a část výzkumnou. V teoretické části je tato problematika řešena ve čtyřech kapito-lách. V první je náhradní péče definována a historicky ukotvena, podrobněji jsou pak typy náhradní rodinné péče vysvětleny v kapitole druhé. Další kapitola pojednává o úskalích náhradní péče, kde je zdůrazněna porucha attachmentu, hledání vlastní identity a vztahy s biologickou rodinou. Středoškolskému vzdělávání se věnuje kapitola čtvrtá, která ho krátce vymezuje, a poté popisuje problematické etapy jedinců z náhradních rodin, se kte-rými se mohou na středních školách potkat. Ve výzkumné části je představen kvalitativní výzkum, kterého se účastnily čtyři náhradní rodiny, a který má popsat jejich pohled na zmiňované období.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with substitute family care and is focused on adolescents, their foster parents and the period of secondary education. It is divided into theoretical and re-search parts. This problem is solved in four chapters in the theoretical part. Substituted care is defined in the first one, where is also talked about historical background, the types of substitute care are explained in more details in the second chapter. The next chapter deals with the difficulties of substitute care, where attachment disorder, the search of own identity and relations with the biological family are pointed out. The four chapter pays attention to secondary schools, which briefly defines, and then describes the problem are-as, which the children from foster families may focus during their secondary education. The qualitative research is presented in the research part, in which four substituted fami-lies participated. The research is interested in their view on the mentioned period.
