Práce je zaměřena na vztah prezidenta a vlády. Poskytuje informace o postavení a pravomocích prezidenta ČR, včetně kreačních pravomocí prezidenta v oblasti jmenování státních úředníků. Součástí práce je exkurz do ústavního vývoje, pojednání o vzniku prezidentského mandátu v ČR.
