Study the establishment of a web portal focused on the nutritional values and their context with health

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with establishing a portal focused on nutritional values and their connection with health. This is the design of a website that will operate in the field of healthy nutrition, while it should also contain an extensive database of nutritional values. The aim of this work is to design a competitive web portal focused on nutrition and its relationship to health. The design of the website was approached not only as a nutritional database but as a modern portal in the field of healthy nutrition. The work is divided into three main parts - theoretical, analytical, and design. In the theoretical part, we deal with two main areas, which are Internet marketing communication and healthy nutrition. They represent a necessary theoretical introduction to the issue. In both cases, we move from the general to the more specific, which means we deal with marketing communication, the Internet, and websites. In the second subchapter, we deal with the basic concepts in the field of healthy nutrition and proceed to evaluate eating habits and diet composition. In the analytical part, which forms the most significant part of the work, we first set out the hypothesis, related research questions, and website design. As part of the hypothesis, we address the question of whether the state of web portals in Slovakia allows the establishment of a new one. The research questions focus on two groups of portals operating in the field of healthy nutrition and a difference from our vision. Subsequently, we continue with the analysis of ten websites in our chosen area, which represent potential competition for our proposal. We address selected criteria, such as design, clarity, content, credibility, support through social networks, and more. At the end of the chapter, we compare these ten websites, evaluate hypotheses and research questions. The final part of the work is the design part, where we present our vision of the website in more detail and present proposals that will make the web portal competitive.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa venuje problematike založenia portálu zameraného na výživové hodnoty a ich súvislosti so zdravím. Ide o návrh webovej stránky, ktorá bude pôsobiť v oblasti zdravej výživy, pričom má obsahovať aj rozsiahlu databázu výživových hodnôt. Cieľom práce je navrhnutie konkurencieschopného webového portálu zameraného na výživu a jej súvislosť so zdravím. K návrhu webstránky bolo pristupované nielen ako k návrhu databázy, ale moderného portálu v oblasti zdravej výživy. Práca je rozdelená na tri hlavné časti - teoretickú, analytickú a návrhovú. V teoretickej časti sa venujeme dvom hlavným okruhom, ktorými sú internetová marketingová komunikácia a zdravá výživa. Predstavujú nevyhnutný teoretický úvod do danej problematiky. V oboch prípadoch postupujeme od všeobecnému ku konkrétnejšiemu, čiže venujeme sa marketingovej komunikácii a internetu, ako aj webovým stránkam, v druhej podkapitole sa venujeme zase základným pojmom v oblasti zdravej výživy a postupujeme až k stravovacím zvyklostiam a zloženiu stravy. V analytickej časti, ktorá tvorí najväčšiu časť práce, najprv stanovíme hypotézu a súvisiace výskumné otázky a náš návrh webovej stránky. V rámci hypotézy riešime otázku, či stav webových portálov na Slovensku umožňuje založenie nového. Výskumné otázky sa zameriavajú na rozdielne dve skupiny portálov pôsobiacich v oblasti zdravej výživy a odlišnosť od našej vízie. Následne pokračujeme analýzou desiatich webových stránok nami vybranej oblasti, ktoré predstavujú potenciálnu konkurenciu pre náš návrh. Riešime vybrané kritériá, ako je dizajn, prehľadnosť, obsah, dôveryhodnosť, podpora prostredníctvom sociálnych sietí a ďalšie. Na záver kapitoly týchto desať webstránok porovnávame, vyhodnotíme hypotézy a výskumné otázky. Záverečnú časť práce tvorí návrhová časť, kde predstavujeme detailnejšie našu víziu webstránky a uvádzame návrhy, vďaka ktorým bude webový portál konkurencieschopný.
