The creation of comic book, its presentation and communication with the audience using the platform of crowdfunding media

Abstract:

The thesis creates a concept of comic book Whisperer presentation project on crowdfunding website. The focus of the thesis is on the medium of comic book as a whole, the image of religion in comic books, which is an important part of the comic book presented, the method of creating comic books and communication strategies used in campaign design. The first part of the thesis is focused on introduction to the medium of comic books, its history and academic research. Product part consists of the process of creating comic book and crowdfunding campaign and also shows how was the campaign tailored for the project of Whisperer comic book, why and which communication strategies were used.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca predkladá návrh projektu prezentácie komiksu Whisperer na crowdfundingovom serveri. Zameranie práce je na médium komiksu ako také, vnímanie náboženstva v komikse, ktoré tvorí dôležitú súčasť prezentovaného produktu, metóde tvorby komiksu a komunikačné stratégie použité pri návrhu kampane. Prvá časť diplomovej práce je venovaná úvodu do média komiksu, jeho historickému vývinu a akademickému skúmaniu. Druhá časť práce sa zameriava na proces tvorby komiksu a crowdfundingovej kampane a zároveň názorne ukazuje akým spôsobom sa tvorila kampaň pre projekt komiksu Whisperer, aké komunikačné stratégie boli vybrané na prezentáciu projektu a z akého dôvodu.
