Práce se zabývá výstavbou a obměnami organizační struktury pohraničních útvarů, konstituováním hraničního a zakázaného pásma, vytvořením tzv. ženijntechnických opatření na státní hranici (tzv. železné opony) a problematikou pokusů o nedovolený přechod státní hranice. This thesis deals with one element of the security services in period after Feb. 1948 in Czechoslovakia, Border Guards, and systems of protecting the state border, which existed at the border with West Germany and Austria in the first half of 50s. The issue is presented using examples of two Border Guards, the 5th brigade in Cheb and 4th brigade in Znojmo, guarding respectively part of the state border …more
