Role of applied methods of teaching reading in the process of building the reading skills of pupils of the 1st grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Role užité metody výuky čtení v procesu budování čtenářských dovedností žáků 1. stupně ZŠ se zabývá formováním čtenářské gramotnosti žáků 1. ročníků ZŠ a zkoumáním schopnosti čtení s porozuměním, která by v rámci výchovně-vzdělávacího procesu měla zaujímat stěžejní postavení. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy související s počáteční čtenářskou gramotností a budováním čtenářské gramotnosti žáků mladšího školního věku. Blíže popisuje soudobé nejčastěji využívané metody prvopočátečního čtení, které stojí v centru zájmu našich výzkumných snah. Dále vymezuje kategorizaci chyb podle M. M. Clayové, ke kterým nejčastěji dochází při čtení žáků 1. ročníků. V neposlední řadě se věnuje postavení vzdělávací oblasti Jazyk a jazyková komunikace, blíže pak oboru Český jazyk a literatura, v RVP ZV a začlenění pojmu čtenářská gramotnost v českém kurikulu. Empirická část popisuje výsledky tří výzkumných měření žáků 1. ročníků ZŠ získaných prostřednictvím moderní technologie eyetrackeru v průběhu jednoho školního roku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis titled Role of applied methods of teaching reading in the process of building the reading skills of pupils of the 1st grade of elementary school deals with the formation of reading literacy of primary school first graders and examining the comprehensive reading skills, which should take a crucial position within the educational process. The theoretical part defines basic terms related to initial reading literacy and building reading literacy skills of pupils. It in detail describes the contemporary most commonly used methods of the outset reading that is in the focus of our research efforts. This part also defines categorization errors by M. M. Clay that occurs most often during pupils reading in the 1st grade. Finally, it deals with the status of the educational area Language and Communication (and then closer in the chapter Czech language and literature) in the Framework Educational Programmne for Basic Education and the integration of the concept of reading literacy in the Czech curriculum. The empirical part describes the results of three research measuring of pupils in the 1st year of primary school obtained through modern eyetracker technology during one school year.
