Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem gender studies, pojednává o osobnosti Boženy Dapeciové (1884 {--} 1959), narozené a žijící v severočeském městě Louny. Její život byl protkán kulturními aktivitami a styky s osobnostmi kulturního života. Její mládí {--} a následně celý příští život {--} ovlivnila známost s dekadentním básníkem a spisovatelem Arthurem Breiským. Později spolupracovala na monografii o tomto muži, jejímž autorem byl Jaroslav Podroužek. Božena Dapeciová vyvíjela regionální kulturní činnost, především spolkovou, divadelní, literární a pěveckou. Byla členkou několika lounských spolků, pravidelně koncipovala scénáře k různým lounským kulturním akcím, byla autorkou řady humorných básní týkajících se Loun a jejich obyvatel. Psala rovněž lyrické básně a vzpomínkové prózy. Některé její literární práce byly časopisecky publikovány. Božena Dapeciová se stýkala s řadou známých osobností, především z oblasti kulturní. Mezi její příbuzné patřili klavírista Karel Vejrych a akademický malíř Rudolf Vejrych. Mnoho umělců poznala díky svým návštěvám Kozlova. Kozlov se stal centrem jakési umělecké společnosti, která se zde vytvořila kolem malíře Maxe Švabinského, rovněž příbuzensky spřízněného s Dapeciovou. V profesním životě působila Dapeciová jako učitelka francouzského a německého jazyka na lounských měšťanských školách, zabývala se rovněž překlady z francouzštiny. Mezi její zájmy patřila turistika a cestování.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with gender issues. It focuses on the life of Božena Dapeciová (1884 {--} 1959) who was born and lived in the town of Louny in nothern Bohemia. Her life was filled with cultural activities and a wealth of contacts with people from the cultural scene. Her early life {--} and subsequently the rest of her life {--} was influenced by her acquaintance with Decadent poet and writer Artur Breisky. Later she co-authored a monograph about Breisky that was written by Jaroslav Podroužek. Božena Dapeciová was particularly active in organizing regional cultural activities, especially club, theatre, literary and concert events. She was a member of several clubs in Louny and periodically drafted scripts for various cultural events in Louny. She is the author of numerous humourous poems about Louny and about the town{\crq}s residents; she also wrote lyrical poems and memoir pieces. Some of her literary works were published in magazines. Dapeciová maintained contacts with many famous people, especially from the cultural circles. Pianist Karel Vejrych and painter Rudolf Vejrych were her relatives. She was able to meet many artists thanks to her visits to Kozlov. Kozlov became the centre of an art community that gathered around the figure of painter Max Švabinský who was also Božena Dapeciová{\crq}s relative. Dapeciová worked as a French and German teacher at municipal schools in Louny. She also translated from French. Her hobbies included hiking and travel.
