Children in foster care and cooperation with the kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Děti v náhradní rodinné péči a spolupráce s mateřskou školou“ je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením ústředních pojmů dané problematiky. Charakterizuje rodinu jako systém, její funkce a styly výchovy. Zabývá se pojetím náhradní rodinné péče a popisuje její možné formy a proces zprostředkování. Dále charakterizuje předškolní věk a předškolní vzdělávání. V neposlední řadě popisuje adaptaci dětí na prostředí mateřské školy, a jaké jsou odlišnosti v chování a prožívání předškolních dětí v náhradní rodinné péči. V poslední kapitole teoretické části najdeme vymezení spolupráce mateřské školy, její formy a možná rizika. V praktické části je zpracována biografie na základě opakovaného hloubkového rozhovoru se zákonnými zástupci dítěte v náhradní rodinné péči a třídní učitelkou mateřské školy, kterou dítě navštěvovalo. Odhaluje příběh rodiny v souvislosti s tím, s čím se náhradní rodina potýkala při procesu zprostředkování osvojení, jak probíhala adaptace dítěte na nové prostředí v rodině, ale i při nástupu do mateřské školy a jakou formou probíhala spolupráce náhradní rodiny dítěte s mateřskou školou.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic „Children in foster care and cooperation with the kindergarten“ is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with defining the central terms of the topic. It describes a family as a system, its function and styles of education. It deals with the concept of children foster care and describes its possible forms and the mediation process. Furthermore, it defines pre-school age and pre-school education. It also describes children´s adaptation to the kindergarten´s environment and explains what the differences are in behaviour and experience of pre-school children in a foster care. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, we find a definition of cooperation of the kindergarten, its forms and potential risks. The practical part offers an elaborated biography based on repeated detailed interviews with legal representatives of the child in foster care and with the class teacher in the kindergarten which was attended by the child. It reveals a family story in relation to what the foster family had to cope with in the process of adoption, how the child adaptation on the new family environment took place but also during the beginning of the attendance to the kindergarten and what form the cooperation of the foster family and the kindergarten had.
