The use of Information and Communication Technologies in teaching of natural Sciences on the first grade elementary school

Abstract:

Obsah této diplomové práce je věnován problematice využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií v hodinách přírodovědy na prvním stupni základní školy. V teoretické části jsou popsány samotné informační a komunikační technologie, jejich vývoj, teorie jejich výuky a teorie výuky s jejich využitím. V práci se dále zabýváme pozitivy a negativy ICT a v neposlední řadě související gramotností. Dále se v práci věnujeme samotnému vývoji výuky přírodovědy a současným trendům v těchto oblastech s ohledem na klíčové kompetence a uplatnění jedince ve společnosti. V empirické části je popsán realizovaný průzkum, jehož cílem bylo zanalyzovat využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií ve výuce přírodovědy na prvním stupni základní školy jednak z pohledu učitelů a jednak z pohledu žáků.

Abstract:

The content of this diploma thesis is the use of information and communication technologies in natural sciences in the first five years of primary school. The theoretical part describes the information and communication technologies themselves, their development, the theory of how they are taught and the theory of how to use them in teaching. In this work, we also deal with the positive and negative aspects of ICT and, last but not least, how it is related to literacy. Furthermore, we focus on the development of how natural sciences are taught and the current trends in these areas with regard to key competencies and employment of individuals in our society. The empirical part of the thesis describes the survey, the aim of which is to analyse the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching of natural sciences in the first five years of primary school, both from the perspective of teachers and from the perspective of students.
