Foster care from the point of view of the receiving family

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá pěstounskou péčí a její vlivem na rodinu po přijetí dítěte do pěstounské péče. Cílem teoretické části práce je s oporou o odbornou literaturu popsat rodinu a její funkce, vztahovou vazbu (attachment), včetně její poruch, pěstounskou péči a finanční zajištění pěstounské péče. Hlavním cílem výzkumné části práce bylo zjistit subjektivní prožívání vlivu pěstounské péče na přijímající rodinu po přijetí dítěte/ dětí do dlouhodobé pěstounské péče. Metodou sběru dat byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor, získaná data byla zpracována dle tematické analýzy Braun a Clarke (2006).

Abstract:

The work deals with foster care and its effect on the family after the child has been taken into foster care. The goal of the theoretical part of the work is to describe family and its functions, attachment, including its disorders, foster care and financial provision of foster care, with the support of professional literature. The main goal of the research part of the work was to determine the subjective experience of the influence of foster care on the receiving family after taking the child/children into long-term foster care. The method of data collection was a semi-structured interview, the data obtained was processed according to a thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke (2006).
