Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Čtení s porozuměním u žáků 4. ročníku ZŠ je zaměřena na vývoj žákovského čtení s porozuměním ve druhém období prvostupňové edukace. Teoretická část předkládané práce vymezuje základní termíny vážící se ke sledované problematice, tj. soustředí se na pojmy související s vývojem pohledu na gramotnost a věnuje se současně metodám výuky čtení užívaným v české edukaci. Představuje zároveň mezinárodní výzkum čtenářské gramotnosti PIRLS a přibližuje výsledky českých žáků 1. stupně ZŠ. Blíže odkrývá zakotvení čtenářské gramotnosti v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu základního vzdělávání a následně zaznamenává možnosti hodnocení čtenářského výkonu z kvalitativního i kvantitativního hlediska. Závěrem této části vysvětluje princip měření očních pohybů přístrojem zvaný Eye Tracker. V empirické části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky dvou výzkumných měření žáků 4. a následně 5. ročníku. Výsledky byly získány v průběhu dvou na sebe navazujících pololetí, respondenty měření se stali žáci tří základních škol v Moravskoslezském kraji. Výzkum je zaměřen na srovnání vývoje kvality čtení z kvalitativního i kvantitativního hlediska u dvou nejčastěji vyučovaných metod čtení. Nedílnou součástí výzkumné části práce je také kapitola věnovaná sebereflexi žáků, tj. jejich vlastnímu hodnocení svého čtení při každém měření, která naznačuje pozoruhodné skutečnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis called The Reading with comprehension of pupils of the fourth grade of the elementary school focuses on development of pupil's reading comprehension in the second period of primary education. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the terminology related to the issue and also focuses on terms related to the development of literacy and explores methods of teaching that are used in the Czech educational system. Subsequently, it presents international research on reading literacy PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) and describes the results of Czech pupils in the first level of primary school. It also reveals its position in the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and records possibilities of evaluation of the reading result from the qualitative as well as from the quantitative point of view. The end of the theoretical part explains the principle of eye gaze tracking by using the eye-tracker device. In the empirical part of thesis are presented results of two observations of pupils in fourth and fifth grade in primary school. The results were obtained during two consecutive terms, and the respondents were students from three different primary schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The research focuses on comparison of reading progress from qualitative and quantitative point of view at two most frequently applied methods of teaching reading. An important part of this thesis is also a chapter dedicated to self-reflection, where students evaluate their own reading; the results are remarkable.
