The reading process of pupils with specific learning difficulties at lower primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá procesem čtení u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení na I. stupni základní školy. Je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část seznamuje s problematikou specifických poruch učení se zaměřením na dyslexii a legislativním rámcem vzdělávání žáků s těmito poruchami. Dále se věnuje osobnosti žáka mladšího školního věku, procesu osvojování čtení u žáků na I. stupni základní školy a vysvětluje roli čtenářské gramotnosti v RVP ZŠ. Závěr teoretické části se zaměřuje na faktory, které ovlivňují úroveň čtenářského výkonu. Hlavním cílem práce bylo posoudit úroveň porozumění textu u žáků 3. tříd se specifickými poruchami učení na běžné základní škole. Na základě dvou textů předložených na dvou různých nosičích byla zjišťována úroveň porozumění čteného textu u skupiny žáků s dyslexií a u skupiny jejich intaktních spolužáků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the reading process of pupils with specific learning difficulties at lower primary school . It is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the research. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of specific learning difficulties with the concentration on dyslexia and on the current legislation of the education of students with specific learning difficulties. Furthermore it pursues with the personality and the process of reading of pupils at lower primary school, explains the role of reader‘s literacy in the school curriculum and is aimed at factors that affect reader‘s performance. The main goal of the diploma thesis was to assess the level of reading comprehension of the pupils with specific learning difficulties at the third grade of the primary school. The two texts on the two different mediums were presented to the group of the dyslexic pupils and to the group of the intact pupils. After that the level of reading comprehension was examined.
