Use of artificial intelligence in graphic design

Abstract:

Práce se zabýv.á problematikou rozvoje umělé inteligence v grafickém designu. Zkoumá, v jakém stadiu rozvoje se nachází umělá inteligence nyní, a dělá prognózu jejího rozvoje do budoucna. Základním cílem této práce je prozkoumat, zda je umělá inteligence hrozbou, nebo příležitostí pro profese grafického designéra. Tento cíl se plní skrz analýzu současného výkonu umělé inteligence a odborné názory na její rozvoj v nejbližší budoucnosti. Struktura práce je rozdělena do sedmi kapitol: Úvod, Grafický design, Umělá inteligence, Umělá inteligence v grafickém designu, Porovnání designu od člověka a od umělé inteligence, Predikce rozvoje AI a aktuálnosti profese a Závěr. Teoretická část vysvětluje hlavní pojmy spojené s grafickým designem a umělou inteligencí a popisuje systémy AI, které se momentálně používají v grafickém designu. V praktické části se analyzují současné designy umělé inteligence a uvádí se prognóza jejího vývoje. V závěru pak následuje celkové shrnutí práce.

Abstract:

The work deals with the development of artificial intelligence in graphic design. It examines the stage of development of artificial intelligence now and makes a prediction of its development in the future. The basic goal of this work is to examine whether artificial intelligence is a threat or an opportunity for the graphic design profession. This goal is fulfilled through an analysis of the current performance of artificial intelligence and expert opinions on its development in the near future. The structure of the work is divided into seven chapters: Introduction, Graphic Design, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence in Graphic Design, Comparison of Design from Human and from Artificial Intelligence, Prediction of AI Development, and Relevance of the Profession, and Conclusion. The theoretical part explains the main concepts associated with graphic design and artificial intelligence and describes the AI systems that are currently used in graphic design. The practical part analyses the current designs of artificial intelligence and provides a forecast of its development. In the end, a general summary of the work follows.
