Application of Age Management within the Corporate Social Responsibility in the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem ?Uplatnění Age Managementu v rámci společenské odpovědnosti firem v Ústeckém kraji? se zabývá teoretickým vymezením konceptu Age Managementu v souvislosti s očekávanými změnami věkové struktury pracovní síly a praktickým zhodnocením jeho implementace ve vybraných podnicích. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a zmapovány zahraniční zkušenosti a dosavadní aktivity na poli Age Managementu v České republice. Také je zde vyhodnoceno postavení starších pracovníků na trhu práce v ČR a v Ústeckém kraji. Cílem výzkumné části pak je posoudit, jakým způsobem vnímají Age Management, jeho přínosy a úroveň implementace samy podniky. K naplnění tohoto cíle byl využit kvalitativní přístup v podobě rozhovoru pomocí návodu provedeného s deseti významnými zaměstnavateli v Ústeckém kraji. V závěru práce jsou na základě interpretace zjištěných dat navržena doporučení pro další rozvoj Age Managementu v podnikové praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis titled "Application of Age Management within Corporate Social Responsibility in the Ústi Region" deals with the theoretical definition of the Age Management concept in relation to the expected changes in the age structure of the workforce and the practical evaluation of implementation of this concept in selected companies. In the theoretical part are defined basic terms and mapped foreign experience and current activities in the field of Age Management in the Czech Republic. There is also included evaluation of position of older workers in the labor market in the Czech Republic and the Ústi Region. Then the aim of the research is to assess how the companies themselves perceive Age Management, its benefits and the level of its implementation. To fulfill this objective, a qualitative approach was used in the form of an ?interview with using the instructions? made with ten major employers in the Ústí Region. In the conclusion there are suggested recommendations for further development of Age Management in business practice based on the interpretation of the acquired data.
