HMGB1 a HMGB2 jsou nespecifickými jadernými proteiny, které vyhledávají potenciální vazebná místa na chromatinu. Interagují s DNA, transkripčními faktory, histony, nukleozomy a plní funkci DNA chaperonů. Abstract:
HMGB1 and HMGB2 are nonspecific nuclear proteins that scan for potential binding sites on chromatin. They interact with DNA, transcription factors, nucleosomes, histones and act as DNA chaperons.
